The STEAM Maker Festival is a one of a kind event designed to bridge the gap between School based STEAM programs and the MAKER Movement. Over 120 booths, displays and presentations will showcase local school programs, crafters, makers and the people and companies that are driving the next wave of creative technologies.

The San Diego STEAM Maker Fest is an annual event every December here in San Diego. The event is part maker fair and maker movement, part local businesses and non-profits on display, part fun fair and part music and dance festival. And definitely all kids! Every booth is interactive, providing both entertainment and education.

Businesses and charities! Expect to see 120 local and national companies that have things that make a child’s life better. These are specifically chosen businesses and charities that will provide a unique hands on experience for all visitors. Every vendor is providing an activity or demonstration to enjoy. Plus meet charities making a difference in children’s lives.

Maker Fair! A maker fair is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. The San Diego STEAM Maker festival combines a maker fair with S.T.E.A.M. Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) to create a unique unique educational festival for kids and adults alike.

So come on down to the San Diego STEAM Maker Festival to experience everything for kids, makers, and their families!
