DESCRIPTION:Cleanups are a fun and rewarding way to volunteer and engage with our mission to protect our ocean\, waves and beaches\, for all people. \n\n\n\n\nJoin Surfrider San Diego and our Ocean Friendly Hosts\, Sally’s Waterfront Dining\, for a cleanup at Seaport Village. For faster check-in\, register through the offical Surfrider sign-up link: Seaport Village Cleanup \nPURPOSE \nBring your family\, friends and make new acquaintances to raise awareness about litter and plastic pollution. Earn service hours too! Getting involved with the Surfrider Foundation shows that you care about the community and its environment. \nROLE \nLearn a bit more about our beach cleanup program by removing trash and collecting data to support a healthier ocean\, parks\, waterways\, and beaches. \nVIBE \nActive teamwork\, outdoors\, and fun! We provide cleanup supplies until we run out.
