DESCRIPTION:Join us for FilmNet Special Edition as an official event of San Diego Film Week/ Film Consortium at the Knotty Barrel in East Village Downtown San Diego in the back Patio. \nWhile Karl is away on vacation\, the November gathering will be mainly a networking event in conjunction with the many filmmakers\, actors and crew who have a film in San Diego Film Week. As always\, we’ll have a red carpet to take your “glam” images and it will be a great chance to make connections with successful SD filmmakers and continue to make FilmNet your ultimate networking event.\nTony Amat\, CEO of R3 Productions\, and the R3P team will be there to greet you at the door and be your photographers for the red carpet. \nWe also invite SAG-AFTRA members to bring friends who are actors to the event and to learn about how to become a SAG member. \n$5 at the back door entrance to support FilmNet – Street Parking – Public Transit \nFood and beverages available for purchase at the Knotty Barrel – 844 Market Street. At long last we’re starting up monthly networking events again to support the local film community. It’s going to be even more hands-on\, interactive and productive this time. Besides networking and hosting guest speakers\, we will showcase short films and promo material\, work on pitches and invite industry gatekeepers to hear them\, put on fun games and contests as well as many more enriching activities. Networking includes supporting local producers\, creators\, actors\, crew and film professionals in their effort to assemble teams and develop content and marketing opportunities\, along with original FilmNet content and a documentary of our group\, events\, participants and their projects.
