SAN DIEGO − Feb. 5, 2014 − Anametrix, the first cloud-based, real-time marketing analytics platform, today welcomes Barry Parshall, veteran marketing and analytics leader, as SVP of product management. Parshall leads the company’s product strategy to extend real-time, multichannel-analytics capabilities that enable decision support for Global 2000 marketing organizations.
- As head of product management, Parshall will work with the Anametrix engineering, data-science, professional-services and account-management teams, as well as the growing roster of Anametrix clients, to expand and enhance the company’s analytics product offerings. Designed to give marketing organizations access to powerful and flexible decision-support solutions, Anametrix marketing analytics go well beyond dashboards. Parshall will ensure Anametrix solutions not only deliver a clear picture of historical trends but also uncover hidden correlations and recommend the path to a better future through predictive and what-if analyses.
- Parshall has been at the forefront of emerging technologies and innovations in business intelligence, web analytics and digital marketing, having served in a variety of senior, product-leadership roles during the past 25 years. Now he joins Anametrix at an important inflection point bringing a new cycle of innovation, which enables marketing organizations to analyze multichannel data from all sources in real-time to optimize return on marketing investment (ROMI).
- Prior to joining Anametrix, Parshall was SVP of product management for iJento, a multichannel, customer-intelligence vendor that introduced solutions at the intersection of web analytics and business intelligence. He also worked at Adobe on the flagship Omniture solutions. Earlier in his career, he was head of product strategy at WebTrends from 2001 to 2009. He also served as lead product manager for Crystal Decisions, a business intelligence firm later acquired by Business Objects, and he served as VP of products for Micro Data Base Systems.
- Parshall earned a B.S. in Mathematics, Computer Science, from Purdue University.
