CYBERSECURITY SIG – THREATS, TRENDS AND INNOVATIONS
San Diego is home to a vibrant innovation economy, tourism industry and the largest concentration of military assets in the nation, which creates a large bullseye for cyberattacks. Half of these attacks are aimed at small businesses—our region’s economic engine—and the cost of the average data breach for a company has climbed to $4.24 million in 2021 (Ponemon Institute).
EvoNexus and Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) invite you to the kick-off of the Cybersecurity Special Interest Group (SIG). Join us for a discussion about the current threat landscape, lessons from the trenches, and new innovations, followed by a reception with San Diego’s cyber leaders.
Eric Basu: CEO, Haiku, prior CEO of Sentek Global and CCOE Founding Board Member
John Kim: Assistant Special Agent in Charge, FBI San Diego
Chase Frazen: Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer, Sharp Healthcare and CCOE Board Member
Pat Sullivan: Founding CCOE Board Member and Immediate Past Executive Director, NAVWAR
Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) is a San Diego-based nonprofit that mobilizes businesses, academia, and government to grow the regional cyber economy and create a more secure digital community for all.
