Refund Policy for Paid Event Upgrades & Ad Banners
At San Diego Tech Scene, we offer low-cost visibility options to support our local tech community. Since these upgrades are manually reviewed and space is limited, we ask that you review the policy below before purchasing.
All Sales Are Final
Once your event upgrade or banner ad has been submitted and payment is received, we do not offer refunds—except in cases of technical errors or failure to deliver the service as described.
Exceptions for Refunds
- Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Your event or ad was not published within the promised 48-hour window.
- There was a technical issue on our end that prevented your ad from displaying.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
No Refunds for:
- Cancellations or postponements of your event after payment is submitted.
- Ads that run their full course or were published as agreed.
- Dissatisfaction with the level of visibility or engagement (we cannot guarantee traffic or results).
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund based on the conditions above, please contact us within 7 days of your payment with your transaction details and reason for the request.
