Who we are looking for
We are looking for passionate and smart Go engineers, who love to tackle problems at scale. An engineer who is a strong team player and possesses hands-on product engineering with the ability to design and build a product from an idea.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Code, test and document solutions for creating Carted’s commerce API.
Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
Troubleshoot and debug technical problems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure business goals are achieved.
Translate software and other designs into functional technical specifications.
Research and define new areas of technology to continuously improve our product line.
Build out new features and products.
YOU HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN
Microservices (REST and GRPC) – Golang
OLAP db like BigQuery, RedShift, Snowflake and etc.
OLTP db like BigTable, Cassandra, etc.
ElasticSearch
Data processing: JAVA / Apache Beam (Google Dataflow)
ETL pipelines at scale
Message Queues, like Redis PubSub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
Stress testing and debugging at scale
Kubernetes, Traefik, Istio Terraform (ops skills)
CI / CD – workflows
