Interlaced.io is seeking a candidate for the position of Head-of-Growth to be based in San Diego, California.
The right candidate will be willing to take ownership of the 1-year growth plan, lead a small team
of Sales Representatives and Growth Managers, manage the marketing and sales budgets, and
own the full sales-cycle process and marketing funnel. Additionally, the Head-of-Growth will
collaborate with the CEO on long-term strategies, as well as Strategic Partnerships
The Head-of-Growth will have excellent organization, communication, and coaching skills, and
will thrive with minimal supervision, will be able to learn fast and adapt to varying customer
demands, work cross-functionally to craft solutions to customer problems, and be able to
represent the company, strengthening the companies reputations and embodying the
company’s values while acquiring leads and closing deals.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the Growth Team: manage 1-3 direct reports, ensure the efficient division of
efforts, manage Sales targets and continually refine the Growth Playbook. Continually
track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of the Marketing Funnel and Sales
Pipeline against Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly targets.
Coordinate all Marketing Efforts: evaluate all marketing efforts and their alternatives to
ensure the company is getting the best ROI and meeting aggressive growth targets while
staying within budget. Work cross-functionally and with agency partners to generate a
steady stream of content to keep the Company relevant across channels.
New Product Introduction: work directly with the Executive Team on new product
offerings, strategic experiments, and important partnerships that could influence 3-5 year
Obsess over customer outcomes: ensure only “right-fit” customers make it through the
marketing/sales process, and the customers who do love our services, and the
customers who don’t make it through the sales process at least learn from Interlaced and
are better off having gone through the process.
3+ years of sales, business development and/or entrepreneurial experience.
4+ years in leadership positions. Prior experience working directly with executives
(internal and external).
Technical degree and/or substantial technical experience a must, MBA or another
business-related degree a plus.
Working competency in digital marketing; experience working with or for an agency is a
Experience working in highly-regulated environments.
Ability to read and write contracts, agreements, proposals, and statements of work.
Strong attention to detail. Adaptability/flexibility. Critical problem-solving.
Familiarity with, and love of Apple products.
