StartUp Weekend San Diego
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event in which a highly motivated group of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, and graphic artists come together to create new business ventures and projects in the spirit of the startup lifestyle.
The participants who attend Startup Weekend begin by deciding what to tackle over the weekend and then spend the next few days building these ideas into a map for execution. Attendees are responsible for bringing a high level of passion and dedication to the table and walk out with the beginnings of a potential company — all in a weekend.
Startup Weekend provides an unprecedented level of networking, team-building, and learning for its attendees and their communities — sometimes a company emerges, sometimes one doesn’t. Some companies even go on to produce revenue or get seed funding. No matter what comes out of the weekend, attendees leave with invaluable experience, insight, resources, and knowledge — and not to mention new friends with shared interests.
Startup Weekend will be coming to San Diego in Summer 2010. Enter your e-mail address here to be one of the first to get involved:
