COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Brink SBDC SBIR Writing Group is a 4-week series that provides a step-by-step guide and timeline to write a successful SBIR.
What to Expect:
- How to find the right grant opportunities
- What content to include for: Specific Aims – Team – Budget – Letters of Intent;
- How to address: Work Plan, Innovation and Impact, Biosketches
- Tips for describing your: Research Plan and Budget, and Commercialization Plan
WHAT IS SBIR?
SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) is a federal program comprising 11 agencies (NSF, NIH, DOD, DOE & NASA) that provides grants for science and technology research. The primary focus of this workshop is BARDA, DOD, DHHS, NIH and NSF Phase I applications, but those applying to other agencies are also welcome.
