WE ARE IN AI™ is bringing together businesses, city leaders, academia, creative professionals, and community members for a half-day forum defining what Responsible and Human-Centered AI looks like in practice for the region.
The Forum is a half-day event where business, ecosystem, and community voices come together to shape the future of Responsible and Human-Centered AI for San Diego and beyond.
During the event there will be three tracks: business, ecosystem, and community run simultaneously and converge in a closing plenary to produce something unprecedented: the first San Diego Responsible AI Pulse 2026.
The goal of this forum is to foster a shared regional vision for AI through community collaboration. As an educational space, the insights generated here are intended for guidance as we co-create a more responsible and human-centered future.

Participants move into their chosen track for a structured co-creation working session:

🌐 Ecosystem Track: For the institutions and leaders contributing to how AI serves our region. This is where shared insights are co-created to guide future institutional strategy.
👥 Community Track: For professionals, creatives, and community members shaping what AI means for people. We’ll explore what responsible AI looks like in creative work, community organizations, and everyday professional practice.
