San Diego Robotics DIYRobocars Race-Prep Day, Hosted by UCSD.
Please keep in mind that at the Saturdays meeting we expect you to have your robocar built and software installed. I hope you will understand that for us time at the track is limited to once a week for 4 hours. We would like to use it for development as much as feasible.
Please complete your robot build before coming to the Saturdays meetup. See the 2nd Wednesday of month Beginner/Builder Meetup and our slack channel. Then bring your bot and computer to the track.
Please sign-up and come for our monthly Beginners and Builders Meetup before coming to the Saturdays Meetup.
Agenda:
10 :00 am – 2:00 pm. Training and racing
We have built a double lane track with a yellow dashed center-line. Expect a track roughly 30×15 feet, with a concrete floor and duct tape lines.
Don’t worry if you are still working things out with the software. We will be on hand to help all get going. This is a great chance to gather training data for you robot. Still figuring out hardware and/or configuring the software on the bot and laptop? Go to one of the 2nd Wed of month Beginner/Builder Meetups.
There will be tables, power, and wifi. Please bring your laptops and bot and be ready to hack.
A special thanks to UCSD for hosting us.
Thank you.
