Challenge: Future Interfaces
Personal computing devices are constantly evolving in form and function. Designers often build around what users do, say, and need, yet the most transformative innovations in human-computer interaction are often sparked by visionaries who see past what currently exists. Today, generative AI has opened up the door for new visions. From dynamically-generated user interfaces that render on the fly to multi-modal agents that expand the ways we can experience information, it’s a hugely exciting time to build the future of human-computer interaction!
Build Interfaces that dynamically adapt to each user. Develop easy ways of modernizing old interfaces, from the business or consumer side. Explore new ways of measuring engagement or understanding, and design systems that respond to those metrics in real time.
