Modern aerospace systems require more than static models—they need integrated, traceable validation and verification (V&V) supported by Multidisciplinary Design Analysis and Optimization (MDAO). While SysML defines system architecture, it often lacks the detail needed for engineering decisions. ESTECO will present challenges and solutions for implementing effective V&V within Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using VOLTA, their MDAO framework. The session will show how VOLTA integrates simulations from various tools into Cameo models, ensuring traceability, version control, and streamlined collaboration across teams. It will also highlight the importance of scalable, flexible MBSE strategies that support digital thread continuity from concept to compliance.
