The selected San Diego startups are automatically accepted to pitch at EXPO in Sunnyvale for greater funding and then return to San Diego to continue growing with local support along with connections to the Plug and Play global network!

Plug and Play San Diego builds the bridge for San Diego’s exciting technology startups to the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, CA. The Plug and Play Tech Center was originally founded in Sunnyvale, CA in 2006 and has raised over $3 Billion in funding for more than 250 startups in its network. In 2012, San Diego was selected as the first Plug and Play satellite program in the United States (other satellite programs are in Russia, Canada, Spain, Poland, Jordan and Singapore). We now have 16 startups in the Plug and Play San Diego portfolio (including Rock My Run, Vioozer, TipNetwork, Ahorro Libre, Airbitz) and look forward to selecting and funding more startups via applications received by May 10 at http://sandiego.plugandplaytechcenter.com/programs/apply
