About Samantha Poole
Samantha Poole is a Business Outreach Liaison at the Office of Small Business and
Disabled Veteran Enterprise Services with the California Department of General Services.
In this role, Samantha provides guidance on Small Business and Disabled Veteran
Business Enterprise certifications, as well as helping California business navigate the state
procurement process.

Previous to joining DGS, Samantha worked in education as a teacher and as a school
principal for about 10 years. Her experience in education includes providing trainings and
stakeholder support with a variety of individuals. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree in History and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership.

Her desire for providing training and support for others, as well personal connections with
disabled veterans, leads to her commitment to providing assistance to SB and DVBE
customers.
